- This is a highly specialized field of nursing where you deal with patients who have problems with wounds, ostomy and continence. Only some 4,000 nurses worldwide have specialized in this field to date.

- It would be a mistake to think all nurses provide bedside care and have to work in shift patterns .     
 - Rather, the field is so wide and varied that it would be impossible to list every single option nurses can choose from.
