Quality Improvement Coordinator (RN)

Quality improvement coordinator is to manage and coordinate a healthcare team and to handle much of the administrative tasks that come with running a healthcare facility. The main goals of a QI coordinator are to develop and implement processes to improve and maintain patient care quality and standards. QI coordinators are also responsible for looking at data to save money, while also ensuring a high level of patient care. 

Healthcare Risk Management Manager

In this, nurse responsible for overseeing and minimizing errors, accidents, or anything that could prompt a malpractice suit. You will need a strong understanding of health policies and procedures in order to help minimize risk and liabilities. 

Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE)

 (CDE) is a certified diabetic specialist who is responsible for educating diabetic patients on dietary needs, restrictions, and the overall health. Most CDEs must be a registered nurse and hold a Commission on Dietetic Registration certification. You will also need a bachelor’s degree in nursing or nutrition, while some roles might require as much as a master’s degree in these fields. 

Clinical Educator

In this, nurse responsible for educating people on how to manage and prevent illnesses and disease through healthy habits. As a clinical educator, you might be responsible for teaching people better nutrition and developing dietary plans based off an individual’s needs. Part of the job also requires you to create and distribute educational materials in order to help educate others on healthy habits.

Informatics Nurse

Nurse is responsible for evaluating a healthcare-facilities need for clinical IT applications and implementing the technology. As an informatics nurse you will also be responsible for training and educating the staff on how to use new systems and technology that come into the facility.

Help patients at a healthcare facility by answering questions or concerns the patient has about their treatment. You will schedule patient appointments, answer phones, greet visitors, manage medical records and charts, and interview patients for insurance and privacy forms.

Medical Writer

Medical writers generally work for pharmaceutical companies, medical equipment companies, and other health service providers and are responsible for conveying information to the public that adheres to regulatory standards. 

Legal Nurse Consultant (LNC)

Responsible for using their knowledge of the medical system to assist in medical-legal cases and claims at a healthcare facility. As an LNC you will be responsible for maintaining, summarizing, and reporting on health records as well as collecting, auditing, and managing records.
